Angie Bunch

Angie Bunch, founder of Culture Shock Dance Troupes, Inc., executive director of Culture Shock San Diego, lives in San Diego, California and is founder and co-owner of the Culture Shock Dance Center there. Once a member of the elite Nike Network of sponsored dance and fitness athletes, Angie traveled the globe, sharing her passion and unique non-verbal teaching style, developing the Cardio Hip Hop class enjoyed worldwide today. Angie is a teacher, a director, and a leader who champions dancers and artists alike. No longer able to dance since a chronic ankle injury finally won out, Angie is now conducting instructor training workshops to continue the popular and accessible Cardio Hip Hop movement.

At the age of 41, Angie gave birth to a daughter, Dominica, and discovered her second ‘life’ while her first ‘child’, Culture Shock, is approaching an almost legal 21 years old!

Approachable and straightforward, Angie still has a vision of a Culture Shock Broadway show and is currently working with Culture Shock San Diego on a re-interpretation of a Hip Hop Nutcracker for the 2013 Holidays! Stay tuned!

Marc-André Clement

Marc-André Clement is a passionate entrepreneur and educator who dedicates his life to the promotion of a positive, active and healthy lifestyle.

Marc-André has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience ranging from entertainment, personal wellness, training, and more. Since 1991, he has worked in the fitness and health industry, with numerous years of competitive coaching and mentoring experience. Marc-André has been involved with numerous organizations on a regional, national and worldwide scale from being a national High Five Facilitator and national ViPR Master Trainer to international fitness, lifestyle and dance presenter, consultant and motivational speaker.

As the co-founder of Momentum Moves Canada and Entrepreneur Lifestyle Academy, as well partner at PoliceFit Canada, Marc-André is no stranger to the “Entrepreneur Lifestyle”. He is recognized for his ability to instil leadership skills, by creating innovative dance and movement programs as a fitness alternative, and preaching the importance of creativity and individuality. Mesmerized by the art of movement through Hip Hop music, he has appeared on the award winning “Cardio Hip Hop” TV show, as well as on Cardio Dance segments for Josée Lavigueur’s “Ma Zone Fit”.

Marc-André has real estate holdings in rental properties and is an experienced landlord. He has been actively involved with world renown network marketing companies and often collaborates with universities and colleges for internship purposes.

Perhaps most notably, Marc-André is the National Executive Director of Culture Shock Canada Charity, and has been the driving force behind the success of this organization since 1998. He continues to act as an ambassador to Culture Shock internationally, as well as other dance troupes and related dance, youth and fitness organizations worldwide.

Albert Harnois

Albert Harnois is a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel who has legal experience in intellectual property, transactions, and general counsel matters. He has built and managed substantial patent portfolios in telecommunications, electronic devices, software, search engines, user interfaces, cryptography, and LEDs. He has participated in investor fund raising and has managed major litigation. His experience reaches across every segment of corporate activity to align I.P. strategy with business drivers. His extensive graduate school background includes an M.S.C.S., M.S.E.E., J.D., and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property.

At the 2012 U.S. Salsa Open, Albert took first place with professional Liz Rojas in both of the Over-40 Pro-Am categories Just Salsa and Salsa Showcase. At the 2012 World Latin Dance Cup, Albert took fifth place with professional Liz Rojas in the Salsa Pro-Am Division.

Del Mak

Hailing from London UK, Del Mak is an International Creative Director, Judge, Award Winning Choreographer and Educator specialising in creating movement & dance for numerous mediums including Music, Fashion, Art, Theatre, Award Shows, Live Events, Television & Film.

Del joined Culture Shock UK in 2003 and was Associate Director in 2004. He is a co-founder of Funkology Dance Crew and an original member of The Waacktitioners, UK’s 1st Waacking crew.

Del has performed with renowned artists such as Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Lady GaGa, Jessie J, One Direction, Leona Lewis, & Pet Shop Boys, at the London 2012 Olympic Games, award shows including the MTV Europe Awards, Brit Awards and appeared on The X Factor and The Step Up Dance Workout DVD.

Del has choreographed for artists such as The Chemical Brothers, Franz Ferdinand, M.I.A, Timbaland, McFly and Elbow, and created performances for live broadcasted major award ceremonies including the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, African Music Awards and UK Asian Music Awards. He has been a Creative & Performance Choreographer on UK’s biggest live TV Dance show Sky TV’s Got To Dance as well as having choreographed key commercial campaigns for Nike, BMW Mini, Pizza Hut, L’Oreal, MTV, Footlocker and Adidas.

Del appeared as a World Expert Judge on US major network CBS TV talent show called The World’s Best and is currently an Elite Judge for Hip Hop International having judged 6 times at the World Hip-Hop Dance Championships in USA & at national qualifiers in the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Russia, Denmark, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine & Ireland.

As an instructor, Del loves sharing his experiences and knowledge, having trained under legendary dance pioneers (in the styles of Breaking, Locking, Popping, Waacking, Vogue, House) and also in a variety of movement genres including Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Latin, Swing, Parkour & Martial Arts. With such a wide movement base, Del’s choreography is a fusion of all these influences combined with musical and/or narrative purpose and meaning. Del prides himself on mentoring and developing the next generation of dancers not only in dance and technique but also in the key to finding ones own style and becoming an artist with longevity and success.

Del has travelled the world facilitating workshops and masterclasses at prestigious studios and institutions including at Millennium Dance Complex Las Vegas, Edge Performing Arts Center (Los Angeles), Peridance (New York), Pineapple Studios (London), Culture Shock (San Diego, New York, Canada & UK), Axis Connect Industry Intensive, The Platform LA Mentorship, & in the countries Canada, Mexico, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Austria, Ireland, Romania, Thailand, Peru & Malaysia.

Eilleen Mallary

Eilleen Mallary is the Executive Director for Culture Shock® Chicago, as well as being a Company Dancer, and teaching artist for the past nineteen years. Culture Shock® utilizes Hip-Hop & urban dance culture to cultivate education, enrichment and entertainment to inspire positive change in the communities they serve. Their performances allow them to share an art form through dance and music-exposing audience members to the rich history of Hip-Hop and its many cultural influences. Honored to be the first Chicago Hip-Hop Company to present at Chicago’s prestigious Harris Theater, Culture Shock understands the paramount need for representation and diversity. For over 20 years, Culture Shock has continued to craft Hip-Hop Dance as a medium to explore uncomfortable social topics, create new conversations and develop understanding within our community and each other. Their outreach programming remains a cornerstone for the organization and they continue to build our Chicago communities from within through Education, Entertainment and Community Empowerment.

With Culture Shock, she has performed extensively throughout Chicago, as well as touring the US and Canada. She assisted with and performed a flash mob for Pillsbury with gospel duo “Mary Mary” and can be seen on film in the “Get Hybrid” mattress commercial. She has performed for Adidas-Lollapalooza, Coca Cola, Nordstrom and Nike’s “Let’s Move” campaign launch with First Lady Michelle Obama. Her most recent commercial choreography includes flash mobs for Bacardi, The Thrillist and Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. Her students and choreography have won National Championships, numerous awards and recognition at regional and national competitions and the city’s annual dance festival, Dance Chicago. Eilleen is a passionate and dedicated teacher who strives to inspire and create positive change through dance.

Lenon Peachlum

Lenon is a respected Choreographer, Instructor and Mentor around the globe. He has presented choreography, classes, and seminars over 23 Countries. Combining years of technical experience; Lenon has extensive skill as a theoretical, and practical educational provider.

Lenon’s history with Culture Shock is extensive and colorful. Responsible for creating the name for the Troupe and being a founding member of Culture Shock San Diego, He was also subsequently : The first ever Dance Captain, Artistic Director, and National Artistic Director for the Culture Shock National Team, and Director of Culture Shock Switzerland. He was also instrumental in assisting Angie Bunch in providing foundational work with all of the International Troupes.

In 1995, Lenon also founded the San Diego Padres’ original Stadium Youth performance troupe, then called the “3 OUTS & WE’RE UP” Dancers which perform between innings at Padres Home Games.  He was also the Resident Choreographer for the San Diego Art and Fashion Group, where his own Dance Company “Models In Motion” performed Industrial, and Commercial Fashion Shows for HANG TEN, AIRWALK, NORDSTROMS, BULLOCKS. and AVEEDA to name a few. He has provided Choreography for Concert Tours, Music Videos, Musicals, Plays, and Professional Cheerleading.  Also an accomplished Voice-Over Artist, Lenon performs Industrial, and Commercial Advertisements for the International Market

His choreography and teachings have captured numerous competitive titles, paved the way, and helped to train some of today’s talent for their notable careers. Lenon is truly a man of many talents.
