Angie Bunch

Angie Bunch, founder of Culture Shock Dance Troupes, Inc., executive director of Culture Shock San Diego, lives in San Diego, California and is founder and co-owner of the Culture Shock Dance Center there. Once a member of the elite Nike Network of sponsored dance and fitness athletes, Angie traveled the globe, sharing her passion and unique non-verbal teaching style, developing the Cardio Hip Hop class enjoyed worldwide today. Angie is a teacher, a director, and a leader who champions dancers and artists alike. No longer able to dance since a chronic ankle injury finally won out, Angie is now conducting instructor training workshops to continue the popular and accessible Cardio Hip Hop movement.

At the age of 41, Angie gave birth to a daughter, Dominica, and discovered her second ‘life’ while her first ‘child’, Culture Shock, is approaching an almost legal 21 years old!

Approachable and straightforward, Angie still has a vision of a Culture Shock Broadway show and is currently working with Culture Shock San Diego on a re-interpretation of a Hip Hop Nutcracker for the 2013 Holidays! Stay tuned!
